- Don’t let on that you’re giving this presentation anything but 100%; so no sharing that you’re tired, hungover or jet lagged
- Address all questions raised head on; don’t try and delay them with “I’ll come back to that later”
- Don’t read what is on your slide aloud—ever; make the font large enough to read and the text short enough so it isn’t detracting attention from you
- Fit your presentation into the allotted time; achieve this by being prepared, rehearsing, and allowing time for questions
