  • Coffee beans are like any other fruit; they only have a certain shelf life period so buy for quality and drink within 4 – 6 weeks of the beans being roasted
  • Filter your water to improve flavor and remove unwanted chemicals which can alter the taste
  • Ideal water brewing temperatures are between 90 to 95 degrees C; check out your home machine to see if it hits these capabilities
  • It’s all about the quality of your grinder too; a good coffee grinder will make a notable difference to the taste
