Coffee Drinkers; Breathe a Sigh of Relief
Dustin Nelson, news writer of Thrillist, reveals the results of caffeine toxicity research on our daily coffee drinking habit. Check out my observations below.
- Recent studies looking at the potential toxicity of drinking too much caffeine show that up to 400 milligrams a day is fine
- So, if you’re in the 80-85 percent of Americans who drink coffee regularly, or more importantly, one of the java junkies drinking above two cups a day you’re in the clear
- Research shows that up to 400 milligrams (300 for pregnant women) is not linked to “adverse cardiovascular effects, behavioral effects, reproductive and developmental effects, acute effects, or bone status”
