  • A scientific study has demonstrated that cold temperatures keep the particles tighter in coffee beans
  • Meaning that if we grind beans from the fridge rather than beans that are stored in a cupboard we’ll achieve a more flavorful cup of coffee
  • Chilled beans give higher extraction of the flavor compounds as it maximizes the surface area available in the grind, i.e. more coffee per bean, so more flavor
