  • Get personal and share a personal, engaging story to create a connection with those you’re speaking to, and always keep smiling throughout
  • Be consistent in the style, tone, imagery, and typography of your slides; it will boost the professional feel of your presentation
  • Keep it simple; from your graphs and statistics to the language your use—making your presentation complex doesn’t make you seem more intelligent, just more inaccessible to your audience
