For Coffee That’s out of This World

  • Strategic design by researchers at Portland State University has resulted in a coffee cup designed to help astronauts drink coffee in zero-gravity
  • Each curve of the cup aims to make drinking coffee in space as “normal” as possible while controlling the movement of liquid which gravity does for us down here on earth
  • The cup’s transparency is also to enable more research on coffee and liquids in general, videos of astronauts drinking from the cups will provide much for scientists to analyze
