  • Dark and light roast coffee differs as darker roast beans are stopped in the roasting process much later; resulting in oilier beans and a more intense flavor
  • The reason drip coffee is not used for lattes or cappuccinos is that it cannot withstand the steamed milk; it’s not thick enough (or as concentrated)
  • Nondairy milks are popular for those who are lactose intolerant (or just don’t drink milk) and can add flavor, but they don’t behave like cow’s milk so act differently when steaming and pouring
